Rafael Nono Pereira has kicked off the 2026 season in the best possible way, taking first place at the opening event of the Venezuelan National Surf Circuit.

The competition took place between March 6th and 7th, 2026, at Playa Los Caracas , one of the country’s most iconic surf breaks. With solid conditions and a strong field of competitors, the event brought together some of the best surfers in Venezuela to battle for the first title of the season.

Representing Kailani Surfboards , Nono delivered a dominant performance throughout the competition. He stood out with radical maneuvers on every wave, combining speed, power, and precision. Among his highlights, his aerial with full rotation became a defining moment of the event, showcasing both progression and control at the highest level.

Known for his smooth yet powerful style, Nono showed exactly why he is considered one of the leading surfers in Venezuela. His ability to read the wave, choose the right lines, and execute critical maneuvers made the difference in demanding conditions.

For Kailani Surfboards , this result reflects the philosophy behind every board: performance-driven surfboards designed to help surfers push their limits and express their style in the water.

With the first victory of the national circuit secured, the 2026 season is just getting started—and all signs point to an exciting year ahead for Nono and the Kailani team.
