Kailani Surfboards (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and provides surfboards including stock items, back orders, and custom-built boards. By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms.
1. General
All products are handcrafted surfboards. Minor variations in color, finish, shape, and dimensions may occur due to the nature of hand-built production. Product images are for reference only.
We reserve the right to update pricing, availability, and product details at any time without prior notice.
2. Products
We offer:
- Stock surfboards
- Back order surfboards
- Custom surfboards
Each category may have different production times, payment rules, and return conditions as described below.
3. Back Orders
- Back orders require full payment at the time of purchase
- Production begins only after payment is received and confirmed
- Estimated production time is 4–6 weeks
- Production time may vary depending on factory workload and material availability
- Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or modified
Back order surfboards are made using standard specifications offered in the shop, including selected models and configurations.
4. Custom Orders
Custom surfboards are built according to customer specifications.
- Full payment is required before production begins
- Specifications must be confirmed prior to production
- Production time may vary depending on design complexity and factory workload
- Custom orders are final sale, non-refundable, and non-returnable
5. Shipping & Delivery
- Production time is separate from shipping time
- Shipping begins once the board is completed
- Estimated shipping time varies by destination (typically 2–21 business days after production)
- We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or external factors
- International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer
6. Returns & Refunds
Due to the handcrafted and made-to-order nature of surfboards:
- Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition
- Back orders are non-refundable once production has started
- Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
If a product arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging.
7. Payment
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store full credit card information.
8. Intellectual Property
All designs, images, branding, and content on this website are the property of Kailani Surfboards and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Surfing is a high-risk sport. By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks.
Kailani Surfboards is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, or indirect/consequential damages resulting from the use of our products.
10. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States.
